Education & Training

Dr. Jung’s path into dentistry began unexpectedly during his senior year of high school, sparked by a curiosity that quickly grew into genuine passion. He completed his undergraduate studies in Michigan before earning acceptance into the prestigious seven-year accelerated dental program at the University of Detroit Mercy — three years of undergraduate study followed by four years of dental school — where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Over the course of his training, that early curiosity evolved into a deep-rooted dedication to continuous learning, advanced techniques, and delivering the highest standard of care to every patient.

Clinical Experience

Following graduation, Dr. Jung made a deliberate decision to relocate to Alaska, where he spent three and a half years providing essential dental care in a high-demand environment. Drawn by the immense opportunity for clinical growth, he immersed himself in mastering a wide range of complex procedures, refining his technical skills with precision and confidence. This intensive experience broadened his expertise across diverse dental needs and reinforced his belief that exceptional care is built through hands-on dedication and a tireless pursuit of excellence.

Returning Home to Michigan

Today, Dr. Jung is thrilled to return to Michigan — the community where he grew up and the place closest to his heart. As a proud Michigan resident, he is eager to give back to the community that shaped him, bringing the clinical expertise and compassionate approach he has cultivated throughout his career. He looks forward to building meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and their families.

Outside the Clinic

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Jung’s greatest joy is spending time with his wife, whom he met in high school. She is his partner in life and his best friend, and together they continue to build their life in Michigan. When he’s not in the clinic or exploring the latest advancements in dental technology, you can find him playing soccer, cheering on his favorite sports teams, or enjoying a great movie.
